The last of the Juice Lubes South West Series has finished, and Maddie and Jay are giving up their position as race organisers so it's time for others to take over their job. They have been fantastic organisers ever since I started racing and it's a shame to see them step down seeing as they do such a good job. However, this race was a perfect finish for them, running perfectly!

On Sunday, we arrived for a short warm up before being gridded and whistled off racing. It was a tight race for me, with Ellite rider Jane Cumming right on my tale. Having a few crashes on the nod off and various bushes around the course I've come away with lots of scratches but happy to grab my 1st place in the womens race and one out of one in my junior category. All 3 Maverick Juvenille girls got on the podium, so did my dad John Allan, and Finley Clay from Fully Sussed, I was very proud of them all!
Woodbury lived up to its' expectations of being a muddy course but really exciting, it has lots of technical downs like the nod off where you just have to slide down and hope for the best! But it had lots of little jumps and berms and was a very flowing course. Hopefully we will be back there soon!
As always, thank you to Maddie and Jay for organising the event and to everyone else who helped out.
Over and out!
